Ratzinger approves use of condoms

The headline reads:

"Pope approves use of condoms in fight against Aids

After decades of fierce opposition to the use of all contraception, the pontiff will end the Catholic Church's absolute ban on the use of condoms."

Well, there you have it. In black and white. Another unprecedented un-Catholic decision by the man who claims to be the "Pope". I really don't know what more you need to show you that the Novus Ordo is not the Catholic Church.

Here a most disturbing quote from the article:

"There may be justified individual cases, for example when a male prostitute uses a condom, where this can be ... "

Why, in the name of all that's Holy, would he even bring up something like this? WAKE UP PEOPLE! This is the man who is walking you straight to Hell if you continue to ignore his heretical actions! I pray that the Holy Ghost opens your eyes.

Tales From the Crypt: To Attract New Blood, Church Joins Club Scene

ROME—The crypt of the Basilica di San Carlo al Corso near St. Peter's Square has boasted tombs of cardinals for centuries. Today it is taking on a livelier vibe.
The Catholic church in Rome is trying to win back young people with a nightclub in the crypt of the Basilica di San Carlo al Corso, complete with a beer and wine bar.
Rev. Maurizio Mirilli, head of youth ministry in Rome's Catholic Church, has converted a section of the crypt into a nightclub with a live-music stage and a bar stocked with beer, Prosecco and other wine. Father Mirilli has christened the new watering hole GP2, short for "Giovanni Paolo II," as the late Polish pope was known in Italian.

A Club in a Crypt

Nadia Shira Cohen for The Wall Street Journal
For Rome's young and restless, GP2 is the prime destination for mingling, dancing or having "a drink with a bishop," Father Mirilli said Saturday night. He he leaned against the club's mirrored bar and nursed a glass of pineapple juice as a phalanx of young men with gelled hair bobbed their heads to the Black Eyed Peas. Scrawled across the bar was a biblical passage from the Gospel of St. John, quoting Jesus Christ: "Give me a drink." (Actually, he was referring to water).
"There should be more places like this," said Annalisa Gennaro, a 21-year-old theology student, as she and a friend made their way into the club. "It's about time the church woke up."
Father Mirilli sees the club as a bridge to carry young Italians back into the Catholic fold. Like most dioceses across Europe, the Vicariate of Rome—as the city's local church is formally known—is looking for new blood. As it is, the pews at Basilica di San Carlo al Corso and other Roman churches have increasingly become the domain of the elderly as fewer young people turn up for Mass.
The Vicariate doesn't keep statistics on practicing members of its flock. A recent nationwide poll by the Italian think tank Instituto IARD, however, found that only 15% of Italian Catholics between the ages of 18 and 29 consider themselves "practicing Catholics," compared with 18% in 2004.
Father Mirilli joined the priesthood at the age of 29, when the late Pope John Paul II was gearing up for the church's Jubilee celebration in Rome. Among the highlights of the Jubilee was the Vatican's World Youth Day, which brought two million young Catholics from around the world to Rome in droves—an event that became known as the "Catholic Woodstock."
In the years that followed, the priest took over the Vicariate's youth ministry and began hunting for ways to revive the Jubilee's youthful spirit. The crypt of Basilica di San Carlo al Corso, located along the city's main shopping strip, had long been a popular daytime hangout for young Catholics. Father Mirilli decided to raise a few thousand euros to remodel the crypt's vaulted interior into a nighttime hangout.
Two years ago, the priest found financial backing from ACLI, a lay group of Italian Catholics. "Christian young people need to find a way to own the night again," says Gianluigi De Palo, an ACLI organizer who frequents GP2. "Being Christian doesn't necessarily mean sad, serious or old."
Father Mirilli also got the nod from his boss, Bishop Ernest Mandara, who oversees the churches in Rome's historical center and reports to Pope Benedict XVI. So far, there have been no complaints from on high, Father Mirilli says. "This place wouldn't exist if [the pope] weren't OK with it."
Many of GP2's features are typical of the Roman bar scene. Speakers pump pop music and disco anthems. Bartenders in black T-shirts serve up drinks from 7 p.m. until midnight, Sundays included.
Not all the rules of running a successful club apply, however. There is no cover charge to get past the club's dimly lit entrance. And there's no two-drink minimum. In fact, clients are expected to observe a two-drink maximum, and GP2 doesn't serve hard spirits, like vodka and gin.
"We don't keep a list of what every customer orders, but we want people to drink, not to get drunk," Father Mirilli says.
A big crucifix hangs on one wall, and footage of John Paul II is projected onto another. The music pulsing through GP2 should be of "Christian inspiration," the priest says, though the club is "sometimes" willing to bend its guidelines to popular demand.
On Saturday, a group of young women thrust their hands and hips to the beat of a dance classic, "YMCA" by the Village People. "There's nothing wrong with listening to a bit of secular music…right?" the priest grinned.
And then there's the club confessional. At the back of the club, a narrow tunnel opens onto an underground chapel where a marble sarcophagus encases the remains of Federico Borromeo, the 17th-century cardinal immortalized by Alessandro Manzoni's novel "The Betrothed." There, Father Mirilli recalled how he recently took a late-night confession from a clubber.
"It was beautiful. Here's a kid that never goes to church, and he's here discussing the Gospel with me," the priest said, adding that he now plans to open a small counseling center adjacent to the bar.
Although word of GP2 has begun to spread around town, the club is facing cutthroat competition—mainly from a dark, leather-upholstered club next door. One of the city's posh clubs, it regularly throbs with techno beats and scantily clad customers who overflow onto the sidewalk. GP2 can hold more than 100 people, but turnout recently has been far lower. Father Mirilli is working hard to increase the numbers.
The priest is "keeping a lid" on prices, charging €2.50 (about $3.50) for a beer—about a third of what his rivals charge. Crimson fliers have been distributed throughout the city's churches emblazoned with the club's catch phrase: "Come and you will see!" The priest says he is also working his contacts to get Italian celebrities to show up and talk about their faith with clubbers.
David Mahawili, a 31-year-old luggage handler, has become a regular at GP2. He says most other clubs attract people who are "trying to act like someone they're not." His friend Flaviano Tacchone, a 29-year-old optometrist, agrees. GP2 is the spot to "get to know" a girl, he says, rather than "pick her up."

If this article doesn't prove to you that Ratzinger and his followers are sending people to hell then I don't know what will. This sacrilege was done with his seal of approval as stated in the article. What more proof do you need?

Life has been crazy lately......

I apologize for not having written in so long; my personal life has been pretty busy lately. I am actually in the process of leaving a job that I have been trying to get out of for a while now and dealing with the stress of that has been overwhelming at times. I have done a Novena to St Joseph and have complete faith that he will help me find employment. I have been worried about how all this will play out, but I know that God works on His timetable and not my own.

I just wanted to write shortly about the whole Novus Ordo issue. It all basically boils down to the fact that what goes on in those buildings in not Catholic, from the "mass", the outright denial of the pillars of the Faith, the doubtful (at best) Sacraments, to the liturgical and other abuses that continue to run rampant in the Vatican institution. The Church has had its dark days, but what the Church teaches has and will never change. The Novus Ordo has changed what they teach, believe and practice to please man rather than God. Plain and simple.

On another note, there will be some pretty major additions coming soon to the website: Nihilinnovetur.com . I will FINALLY be adding my conversion story which might have to be in a few different parts due to length. I assure you that it will, at the very least, be interesting and probably similar to what you have seen and dealt with in your life in the Novus Ordo. Not to give away too much, but for the last few years I have had a very internal view of the goings on in a certain Conciliar church here in the United States. Hint: look above in the first paragraph of this entry. Once I add it you will be able to find my conversion story in the tab titled "Tales from the Trenches" or click here. I will also be adding some stories from some very close friends of mine.

I ask for your prayers and I will leave you with this quote below that comes from Traditio.com. Read it, think about it and pray for discernment from the Holy Ghost.

"We are what you once were.

We believe what you once believed.

We worship as you once worshipped.

If you were right then, we are right now.

If we are wrong now, you were wrong then."

I ran across an interesting letter.........

Greetings!

I haven't written in a while because I have been working on the website for the last month or so. I just wanted to write briefly about a letter I ran across tonight.

Just to give you a little background:
In Cullman, Alabama there is a Benedictine monastery called Christ the King Abbey. Fr Leonard Giardina founded this Abbey in 1984 after receiving the Abbiatal blessing from Bishop McKenna. Fr Giardina has been a priest since 1949 and has held to the Roman Catholic faith ever since. He left his original monastery after seeing the devastating effects of the Second Vatican Council and what it did to the Roman Catholic faith. He realized that he must do everything in his power to continue the traditional Benedictine order and founded the Abbey.

Now to the subject of the letter. In 1999, "Bishop" David Foley of Birmingham, Alabama issued a letter to the "Catholics" in the area stating the status of Fr Giardina. You can read the letter for yourself here on EWTN's website. It states:

  • The Masses celebrated by Father Leonard Giardina or other members of his community either at Christ the King Monastery, Simcoe, Alabama or other locations within or outside the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama are illicit. The Catholic Faithful do not fulfill their Sunday Obligation by attending them. Therefore, I advise the faithful that they should not attend these Masses.

  • Neither Father Leonard Giardina nor other members of his community have the faculties of the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama. Because they do not possess faculties, they cannot validly administer the Sacrament of Penance (hear Confessions), nor validly perform Roman Catholic marriages (Sacrament of Matrimony).

  • Now, let's look at this statement. "Bishop" Foley says that Fr Giardina' Masses are illicit and that he cannot validly administer the Sacraments of Penance or Matrimony. First of all, "Bishop" Foley is not really a Bishop at all. he was ordained a Catholic priest in 1956, but was invalidly "consecrated" in 1986. When the Rite of  Episcopal Consecration was changed by false "pope" Paul VI it left out many parts that Pope Pius XII said were essential for the Consecration to take place. I'm not going to get into that tonight, but you should look it up for your own knowledge. I plan on having that information up on the website very soon. Now back to the matter at hand. Fr. Foley has no authority to take away Father's right to administer the Sacraments because he is NOT a bishop. He's not even a Catholic anymore for that matter.

One of the most interesting things about this is the wording in Fr. Foley's letter. he says "I advise the faithful that they should not attend these Masses". He also says they would not fulfill their Sunday obligation by their attendance. I find that very interesting. The Novus Ordo clergy have truly become spineless when it comes to what they claim to believe. To put this into perspective: If this were 60 years ago and a true Roman Catholic Bishop were making a statement such as this about, let's say, an Orthodox group, he would FORBID them to attend the Orthodox liturgy. Plain and simple.

Now to the second part of the statement from Fr. Foley. He states: "Because they do not possess faculties, they cannot validly administer the Sacrament of Penance (hear Confessions), nor validly perform Roman Catholic marriages (Sacrament of Matrimony)." What's almost laughable about this is what he stated in parenthesis. He has to explain what the Sacrament of Penance is and that Marriage is called the Sacrament of Matrimony. Now before you get upset, notice I said almost laughable. It is a very sad and serious situation. People have been lulled to sleep over the past 50 or so years by the Vatican II religion. If they were truly Catholic and taught the Catholic faith these things would have never taken place. People in the Novus Ordo religion are completely un-catechized and have no idea what the Catholic faith is. False "popes" John XXIII through Benedict XVI would have it no other way. Maybe if this were an Anglican or Lutheran group "Bishop" Foley would have asked Fr Giardina to participate in a joint covenant like he did HERE in 1990 in Richmond, Virginia with "A Call into Covenant" with the Anglicans and Lutherans in Virginia.

This letter from "Bishop" Foley was written in 1999 and may seem like it is irrelevant today. It is very much the opposite. This is just an example of what goes on in the Novus Ordo religion on a regular basis and will continue to happen with Conciliar Rome until we have a true Pope. These men will continue to deny the Roman Catholic faith and lead many more into darkness.

On another note, please pray for the Abbot. He had a stroke recently and needs many prayers. May God bless you.

    The "Traditional" Novus Ordo group

Well, here we are again. I've been very busy lately, but I had to find time to write about something that has been on my mind. Recently, I found myself in a situation where I HAD to go to a Novus Ordo "mass". After much thought and speaking with the priest from my chapel I did my best to prepare myself for what was coming.

I hadn't been to a Novus Ordo "mass" in almost a year and I was not looking forward to it to say the least. Father said the best way to deal with the Novus Ordo is to obviously avoid it, but if is impossible to avoid go but do NOT participate. They may call themselves Catholic, but they are no more Catholic than the Eastern Orthodox or the Methodists who say the Creed on Sundays. Anyway, I tried to mentally prepare myself for this and pray as much as possible before, during and after. The place that I had to go was associated with a very "traditional" Novus Ordo group and when I say "traditional" I mean no girl altar servers or lectors, incense, no hand holding during the Our Father, some women covering their heads, etc. That being said, I was still blown away with the lack of reverence and the many liturgical abuses (to Novus Ordo standards anyway) that went on. They ranged from the lack of bowing by the presbyters to the presider coming down from the sanctuary to give the sermon, communion in the hand, etc. They still refer to Protestants as "our brothers and sisters"....you know where I'm going with all this.

The fact is they STILL don't get it. They still praise John Paul II and name their kids after him even though he kissed the Koran, had a prayer service with all the Protestants and Voodoo priests in Assisi back in the 80's, as well as participating in sacrilege with various religious sects. These are people that should know better.

After going to one of these services I soon realized that nothing had changed and nothing will change with them. The whole time I was there I prayed my Rosary and asked Our Blessed Mother to help open their minds and hearts to the sacrilege that was happening before our eyes. They hear fabricated doctrine and hear and see completely un-Catholic deeds, but still have no clue (or maybe it's no desire) to find the Truth. We just have to pray that God will open their eyes and their souls to the Truth.

I truly believe that with the way things are going with the Novus Ordo one of two things is going to happen. First, the Novus Ordo is going to crumble and people are going to either jump ship to some Protestant group or they will find the true Faith and realize there is no Pope. Or second, a miracle will occur and there will be, by some divine intervention, a true Pope placed over the Church and all will be restored. Hopefully this day will soon come and we can all rest easy again. It will be a great day when this occurs. I might never see it in my lifetime, but if that is the case, so be it. I can still be a good Catholic and still receive the Sacraments while all this going on in the world. We must stay vigilant and keep the faith.

Luke 18:7-8 says: And will not God revenge his elect who cry to him day and night: and will he have patience in their regard? I say to you, that he will quickly revenge them. But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?

Those are definitely words to make you think. Many people just don't realize how badly they have been deceived all these years. We MUST keep the Faith even when it looks like all hope is lost and the world is overrun. God will provide.

    Greetings!

I haven't written in a over a month as things have been very busy at home! School has been wrapping up which has really taken much of my time and I just haven't had the time to write. On this post I would like to talk about my transition from the Novus Ordo "church" to the true Roman Catholic Church. It has been about 6 months since I made the decision to leave and about 3 months since I began going to the Holy Mass of the Ages at a traditional Roman Catholic chapel. The obvious differences between the two is the validity of Holy Orders and the Sacraments as well as their stance on the papal see being vacant (i.e.: sedevacante). What I would really like to cover in this post is the manner in which some things are done in the Roman Catholic Church and the types of people that are sedevacantists versus the average Novus Ordites.

There are so many ways that the Novus Ordo "church" differs from the true Roman Catholic Church. These are pictures of the outside and the inside of a Novus Ordo "church" and these are pictures of the outside (what used to be one anyway) and the inside of a real Roman Catholic Church. This is a picture of a Novus Ordo "priest" and this a picture of a real Roman Catholic priest. This is a picture of a Novus Ordo "mass" and this is a picture of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. What a drastic difference!

I would like to briefly touch on the differences in the people that are true Roman Catholic and the Novus Ordo crowd. The main difference I have found is charity. Yes, charity. Believe it or not, those hard-headed, pius, old-fashioned, old-timers are actually very charitable. Of course, they might get a little upset when discussing their Faith because they see what the likes of false "popes" John XXIII, Paul VI, etc have done to the Catholic Faith. But I will give you this challenge. Tell one of the "pius" Novus Ordites that you are a sedevacantist and see what type of charity you get then. You will not receive anything but bitterness and hate. Believe me, I know from experience. They hate anything that has to do with tradition and the true Catholic faith because they know it disproves their Novus Ordo faith. I have been warmly welcomed at the chapel I started going to and have never been happier in my life. I'm not saying that these people are perfect. Some sedevacantists have a notorious reputation for being uncharitable, but I am intent on personally breaking that reputation. I know where they are coming from. The people in the Novus Ordo "church" have been lied to for over 40 years and it has sent many people to damnation.

Another example in the difference in the sedevacantist Roman Catholic chapels and the Novus Ordo "churches" is the way people live their faith. I don't want to give a blanket description to Novus Ordites, but for the most part many of these people would rather be anywhere than "mass". They come in late, dress inappropriately and leave as soon as they receive "communion". Those types of things broke my heart when I was still going to the Novus Ordo "mass". Now granted, a lot of that has to do with the total lack of catechesis as well as the lack of fear of God, but MANY of those people frankly don't care. They would be just as happy going to a McChurch and clapping and dancing and listening to drums and electric guitars (which, by the way, has crept into many Novus Ordo parishes). It's a sad sight indeed.

Like I stated before, no one is perfect, but if you examine how sedevacantist Catholics live and act it is a totally different story. They are very devout Catholics and are intent on following the rules of the Roman Catholic Church and raising their families in the Catholic Faith. Nowadays, most Novus Ordites couldn't even tell you how to pray the Rosary or the last time they went to confession. I don't mean to blast these poor folks; many of them (maybe even you) are just doing the best they can. I just mean to show the drastic differences in the two.

I hope the Holy Ghost will use some of what I have written to pierce your heart and help you realize that the Novus Ordo "church" is NOT the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. They abandoned they faith long ago. May the Holy Ghost and Our Blessed Mother bless you.

The Current State of the true Roman Catholic Church

    Hello!

I haven't written in a couple of weeks and I have been praying about what I should discuss this time around. The topic that has kept nagging me the most is the well being and state of the Roman Catholic Church. This is a very relevant topic and affects all of us from where we receive the Sacraments and spiritual advice, who we actually can trust and associate with, who is actually Catholic and who isn't, etc.

I'll start out by addressing where we receive the Sacraments and get spiritual guidance. This can be tricky at best because of the people that "offer" the Sacraments. There are many different groups that claim to offer the the Sacraments, but there are only a small number that licitly and validly give them. The Conciliar church doesn't give valid Sacraments because they don't have valid Orders to enable them to do so. The reason they don't have valid orders is because false pope Paul VI illegally changed the Ordination Rite (and the Episcopal Consecration Rite) in 1968. You might ask: What about the old priests that were ordained before 1968? Those specific priests can still give valid Sacraments as long as they follow the old Rites. During Vatican II they also changed the Sacraments along with the liturgy and the Faith itself. All of the changes made in Vatican II were made to modernise and Protestantize the Roman Catholic Church so (guess who?) Protestants would find it attractive. Because the Novus Ordo church follows these invalid changes from the Second Vatican Council to the Roman Catholic faith and Sacraments they are heretics, plain and simple and they cannot be trusted. My comment on all this speaks for itself: when Our Blessed Lord came to this earth and spoke of things that were hard to hear, He did not run after those that left Him (John 6:67). He let them go. We are to preach to the ignorant unbelievers and the heretics (Jews, Protestants, Muslims, etc.), but we are NEVER to change for their sake. Christ didn't change His teaching to suit anyone and neither should we.

There are some groups such as the SSPX and the FSSP that still use the old liturgy and some of the Rites for the Sacraments, but many of the SSPX priests were ordained in the Novus Ordo Rite and left because they didn't agree with all the modernism in the Conciliar church. As far as I know, the FSSP uses the Novus Ordo rites for all of their "ordinations" and that would render them invalid. All of that is another topic for another day.

Now that is out of way we can discuss the traditionalists within the Conciliar church. There are many people, like myself that are (were in my case) within the Conciliar church that are of the following groups:

1-Around during Vatican II and don't know what to do now that all that "was" the Catholic Faith is gone
2-New to the Conciliar church and realize things are not what they seem to be from the outside
3-Raised in the Conciliar church and don't understand all the chaos that has been going on their whole life and why their church doesn't practice what they claim to be
These people are in a sad shape. Believe me, I was one of those new ones that started complaining right off the bat that things were not right. When you go to "mass" and there is no consistency to what is going on in the liturgy you realize something is very wrong. The liturgy varies from "priest" to "priest" and parish to parish. That, my friends, is wrong. Plain and simple. The variations I speak of are: hand holding during the Our Father, standing or sitting at the inappropriate time, clapping, "priests" leaving the altar area, liturgical dancing, female altar servers, using glass or wood for sacred vessels, communion in the hand, "Eucharistic ministers" to EVERYTHING in between. I'm sure you have seen this many times if you have been to a Novus Ordo "mass". All the people I listed above see these things and cringe. If you don't, you are either ignorant or a heretical and liberal modernist. Neither is a good thing. If you think Christ is pleased with that garbage you have another thing coming. In my case, I tried my best to keep the faith the best I could and "hope the next pope is better and straightens things out". The only problem with that is we could wait a hundred more years and all that the modernists in the Conciliar church are going to do is become more Protestant and modern.
I hear all the time "The new seminarians are very traditional and orthodox". To whose standards? The Novus Ordo church? I suppose maybe the new seminarians are heterosexual, so maybe that makes them "orthodox". I will put it this way. I know almost all the "priests" in the "diocese" I live in and out of the hundred or so, I would say maybe three of them are "orthodox" and that is to Novus Ordo standards. Out of all the ones I have met probably only 10-15 of them are not homosexual. If you receive communion on the tongue or you tell a "Catholic"around here you pray the Rosary every day, they look at you as if you have three eyes! THAT is the shape of the Conciliar church and what the "traditionalists" deal with on a daily basis. It is very sad because many of them don't know what to do. I sure didn't.
This brings me to the point about the older generation that lived through Vatican II and all the changes that were made. If you lived at that time it was definitely a shock. When someone that you think is the pope starts making changes, what else can you do but follow? I couldn't imagine the horror some must have felt as the consecrated High Altars were destroyed and thrown in the dumpster and replaced by tables. Tabernacles were hidden in closets (if you think I am exaggerating read this book). the Mass of the Ages was replaced by a liturgy that a child could memorize and perform. This also relates to the generation that has grown up in the Conciliar church. They sit and wonder where the Faith has gone. The fact is, the Faith isn't gone. It was taken from them and they were lied to. They have much in common with the older generation. They all try their best to be reverent when no one else is. They pray the Rosary and have devotions to the Saints and Our Lady. They truly have the desire to be Catholic and to do what Our Lord and His Church would have them do. The only problem is that they are not IN Christ's Church. They think they are because they believe there is no other option. That is the issue that I take VERY personally. Many of these folks don't know where to turn. There are so many true Roman Catholic priests out there that we can receive the Sacraments from and turn to for advice, but they are non-existent on a public level. You really have to know what to look for to find them. That is a shame because that is where the true Roman Catholic faith is. I want people to know the Truth. It is NOT in the Conciliar church. They are NOT what they claim to be.
Here's some homework. I actually found out about this through my own studies. Look on the Vatican website and try to find ANY of the documents from the 21 Church Councils. The only council documents on the site are from Vatican II. I looked ALL over and could not find any trace of them. I'll let you figure out why for yourself. (Hint: It's because they don't want you to see them!)
My best advice to you is to contact a traditional Roman Catholic priest or bishop from CMRI or Bishop McKenna's chapel. Both of these sites are listed on the right side of the page and just ask them some questions. Talk to them. They WILL listen and do their best to help you understand. These men have valid Holy Orders and are in the lines of valid Bishops. You have to realize that the Conciliar church LEFT the Faith. All that is wrong with the Conciliar church today is because of the modernization and liberalization of the Faith during Vatican II. It is NOT the true Roman Catholic faith. Ask yourself this question: Who changed? The old saying is: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I know all this is very hard to hear. I was a convert to the Conciliar church and it was definitely easier for me to leave than many of those that were raised there. Your whole life has been invested with these people. But the Truth is the Truth and it doesn't matter what you or I or anyone thinks. The sky is blue whether you believe it is or not. All I ask is that you pray to Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Ghost to guide you to the truth. May God bless you and your family with understanding.

    Current Events

    Hello again!

Due to all the negative press the Conciliar church has been getting due to sex abuse scandal in Ireland, Germany and the United States I thought I would comment on these different cases from a true Catholic point of view.

These cases are just the by-product of the liberalism of the 1950's and 1960's and the people and ideas that were rearing their ugly heads in that era. Those same people, namely false "popes" John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul II and Benedict XVI were all right in the middle of the Second Vatican Council and specifically it's outcome.

Notorious heretics Frs. Ratzinger and Rahner wearing a suit and tie to the Scond Vatican Council

Let's look at Ratzinger for an example: He has, since "elected", been the definition of a heretic according to all true Catholic teaching. From his prayers at the wailing wall to prayers in the mosque in Istanbul to his preaching in a Lutheran "church" and a COUNTLESS list of other heresies that he has taught from denying that the Old Covenant with the Jews is dissolved to saying that the words of consecration are meaningless in his book:

"There is an obsession with the letter that regards the liturgy of the Church as invalid and thus puts itself outside the Church. It is forgotten here that the validity of the liturgy depends primarily, not on specific words, but on the community of the Church..."

-Principles of Catholic Theology, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger 1982.

His main pals coming up the ranks were Karl Rahner and and Hans Kung.

Rahner holds some wild ideas about the Eucharist:

"In 1966 the late Fr. Karl Rahner stated that "one can no longer
maintain today that bread is a substance, as St. Thomas and the
Fathers of the Council (of Trent) obviously thought it was".For
Rahner, the "substance" of a thing did not include its reality, but the "meaning and purpose" of the thing. So, according to Karl Rahner, transubstantiation meant that, after
the consecration of the Mass, the physical bread remained physical
bread but it now had a new "meaning" of spiritual food because it was
now a "symbol" of Jesus Christ."
    -taken from EWTN's website

....as well as his view of vows of chastity and celibacy, considering he had a girlfriend for 22 years.

Hans Kung is in the same boat. He believes abortion is an option and blames the sex abuse scandal on the uptight view of sex held by the Catholic Church.

Those are just a few of the things these heretics believe and profess while denying the authority and teachings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. These are two of Fr Ratzinger's aka. Benedict XVI best friends and mentors while coming up through the ranks. Due to some of his writings, Pope Pius XII placed him under investigation of the Holy Office for suspicion of heresy.

I don't need to go on and on about all the heresies of these men because I don't have the time to type it all out, but the point I am trying to make is that these liberal modernists, from the beginning, have done everything they can to unseat and disrupt authority and now the fruits of their labor are being reaped by all those post-Vatican II "Catholics". The last 45 years of liberalism and modernism are starting to wear and show negative effects, not just to the liturgy and faith of the those in the clutches of the Conciliar church, but unfortunately, to many people on a physical level as well. These people and all those in the Conciliar church need our prayers not only for for the devastation that has been inflicted upon them, but for the realization of the Truth.

What has REALLY happened over the last 45 years?

Let's look at a few facts, shall we?

These stats taken from Kenneth Jones' Index of Leading Catholic Indicators published in 2002:

Priests- While the number of priests in the United States more than doubled to 58,000, between 1930 and 1965, since then that number has fallen to 45,000. By 2020, there will be only 31,000 priests left, and more than half of these priests will be over 70.

Ordinations- In 1965, 1,575 new priests were ordained in the United States. In 2002, the number was 450. In 1965, only 1 percent of U.S. parishes were without a priest. Today, there are 3,000 priestless parishes, 15 percent of all U.S. parishes.

Seminarians- Between 1965 and 2002, the number of seminarians dropped from 49,000 to 4,700, a decline of over 90 percent. Two-thirds of the 600 seminaries that were operating in 1965 have now closed.

Sisters- In 1965, there were 180,000 Catholic nuns. By 2002, that had fallen to 75,000 and the average age of a Catholic nun is today 68. In 1965, there were 104,000 teaching nuns. Today, there are 8,200, a decline of 94 percent since the end of Vatican II.

Religious Orders- For religious orders in America, the end is in sight. In 1965, 3,559 young men were studying to become Jesuit priests. In 2000, the figure was 389. With the Christian Brothers, the situation is even more dire. Their number has shrunk by two-thirds, with the number of seminarians falling 99 percent. In 1965, there were 912 seminarians in the Christian Brothers. In 2000, there were only seven.
The number of young men studying to become Franciscan and Redemptorist priests fell from 3,379 in 1965 to 84 in 2000.

Catholic schools- Almost half of all Catholic high schools in the United States have closed since 1965. The student population has fallen from 700,000 to 386,000. Parochial schools suffered an even greater decline. Some 4,000 have disappeared, and the number of pupils attending has fallen below 2 million -- from 4.5 million.

Catholic Marriage- Catholic marriages have fallen in number by one-third since 1965, while the annual number of annulments has soared from 338 in 1968 to 50,000 in 2002.

Attendance at Mass- A 1958 Gallup Poll reported that three in four Catholics attended church on Sundays. A recent study by the University of Notre Dame found that only one in four now attend.

Those are pretty staggering statistics, aren't they? Especially when you look at the statistics next to the Protestant churches. According to ABCnews.com their church attendance is around 46% in the United States and according to other statistics around 38% worldwide.

Now, that being said, I am not nor will I ever say that "If the Second Vatican Council had never taken place things would be exactly the same as they were then". I honestly don't believe they would be. The world has turned into a dire place to live and an even worse place to raise children. Believe me, I know all about it. I have 3 children of my own and I dread what they will have to live with in their lifetime. But the facts above do tell a scary tale.

    Here are some more facts:
According to Gallup.com the percentage of Protestant churchgoers in the United States has risen from 42% in 1955 to 45% in 2003. What that tells you is that something drastically changed in the late 1950's to the mid 1960's that affected the Catholic Church and did not affect the Protestant churches. It may sound like a stretch, but is it coincidence that the "Catholic" church has numbers that rival the Protestant church's attendance percentages? I think not. There is definitely something to be said for the fact that in 1955 the Roman Catholic Church Mass attendance percentage was 75% to the Protestant church's 42%. The most frightening of all these stats is that from 1965 the "Catholic" church's mass went from 67% to 54% and the Protestant church attendance actually raised 3%.

Now let's look at what actually caused these problems:
Almost everywhere you go it is the same. Most of the time, the outside of the Conciliar churches look like a monstrosity of modern art. The church buildings that have been around for 50 years or more have been stripped inside of everything Catholic. The tabernacle that used to sit on the High Altar has been hidden away in a room where no one can see it. The High Altar has been replaced with nothing more than a table. The beautiful stained glass windows and statues of our Blessed saints have been replaced with gaudy banners and modern art. The Sacred Music of Gregorian chant has been replaced with string bands and guitar masses. The Second Vatican Council changed the Holy Mass of the Ages into something that is no more than a glorified show. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been thrown away and a Protestantized service put in it's place. We went from receiving Our Blessed Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament on the tongue while reverently on our knees to standing in line and irreverently receiving communion in the hand without so much as a bow.

The belief that "Outside of the Church there is no Salvation" has been replaced by Lumen Gentium that states:

"But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Mohammedans, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind." Lumen Gentium par. 16.

The complete rejection of the Roman Catholic doctrine of Limbo a place where those who died before Christ went to wait for his arrival to free their souls. Limbo is also referred to as Abraham's Bosom ref:Luke 16:22.

The sixth session of the Council of Florence states about limbo:
"Also, the souls of those who have incurred no stain of sin whatsoever after baptism, as well as souls who after incurring the stain of sin have been cleansed whether in their bodies or outside their bodies, as was stated above, are straightaway received into heaven and clearly behold the triune God as he is, yet one person more perfectly than another according to the difference of their merits. But the souls of those who depart this life in actual mortal sin, or in original sin alone, go down straightaway to hell to be punished, but with unequal pains"

Another product was the total unadulterated adherance to false Ecumenism. Fake "Pope" John Paul II was one of the most notorious of these. He called the World Day of Prayer in 1986 which included leaders from Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Orthodoxy and even Voodoo.
You may ask why. In Unitatis Redintegratio (a Vatican II document) it states:

    8. "In certain special circumstances, such as the prescribed prayers "for unity," and during ecumenical gatherings, it is allowable, indeed desirable that Catholics should join in prayer with their separated brethren."

    and

"Witness to the unity of the Church very generally forbids common worship to Christians, but the grace to be had from it sometimes commends this practice."

    and

    11. "The way and method in which the Catholic faith is expressed should never become an obstacle to dialogue with our brethren."

They are saying we should hide our Catholicism to convert the Protestants and other false religions. How is putting our religion in a closet when we are around the Protestants helping to convert them? It is not. It does nothing but water down the Catholic faith.

Another interesting fact is about the Divine Mercy Novena. This was brought to my attention by my friend Steven Speray. You can check out his blog by clicking HERE or the link on the right side of the page. Some sedevacantists (true Roman Catholics) don't believe in the Divine Mercy Devotion, but either way here is an interesting fact:

This devotion was submitted in 1936 and approved by the Ordinary of Vilnius in Poland. In 1958 false pope John XXIII put it it on the list of forbidden books. In 1978, John Paul I denied in again and later that year John Paul II approved it. Now, that being said, let's talk about the devotion itself and how it is treated in the Conciliar Church. If you go to EWTN's website and look at the Novena, listed under the 4th and 5th day are changes in Christ's words, yes you read correctly. The words of our Blessed Lord, the Son of God, ie. God Himself are TOO HARSH AND OFFENSIVE. I'm speechless!

All of these statements really speak for themselves don't they? This is the product of the Second Vatican Council. A false religion that usurped the papacy and the Roman Catholic faith.

However, this is what a true Pope says about Ecumenism:

    10. "Venerable Brethren, it is clear why this Apostolic See has never allowed its subjects to take part in the assemblies of non-Catholics: for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left it. To the one true Church of Christ, we say, which is visible to all, and which is to remain, according to the will of its Author, exactly the same as He instituted it."
-Pope Pius XI in Mortalium Animos

Well there you have it. You can't place a good apple (Holy Mother Church) in the basket with a bad group of apples (False Religion) and expect the good apple to cure the bad.

I know this is all very hard to accept. I went through a long period of denial. If you were raised in post Vatican II Conciliar church this has been your life and completely normal. So have the Protestants down the street. That doesn't make it right. The Truth is the Truth is the Truth. It doesn't matter what you or I or anyone thinks. As a wise man said: "The Truth is no respector of persons". Once we understand and realize that Rome has lost the True Catholic faith we can then decide what to do about it. May God bless you.

    My first post

Hello! This is my first blog on this site and God willing there will be many more to come!

Let me begin and introduce myself! I am a convert from the conciliar church. I have only been in the True Church for a few weeks now, but I thought it might be helpful to document my conversion for others to know what it is like to leave the Conciliar church.

I grew up protestant and come from a heavily protestant family. I fell away from "church" when I left home and it took a major event to get me to realize I needed to wake up and figure out what to do with my life. I started searching for the answers. I looked at everything from Buddhism to Islam to Mormonism. I realized the only True religion was in communion with Christ so I began to examine the different Christian "denominations". I studied tirelessly to find the Faith. It didn't take long for me to realize that THE Church was the Roman Catholic Church. So I grabbed a phone book, called up the local "Catholic" church and got started. When I came to the local "Catholic" parish I assumed they were Catholic. Needless to say, when I started going, I wasn't impressed. None of the things I had read about the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church were present. I thought to myself "Well, no parish is perfect" and "things did change after Vatican II" so I went on praying and going to the Novus Ordo mass very frequently. The more I was involved and the more I read, the more I realized something was very wrong. No one from the laity to the parish priests to the bishop believed or observed what the Roman Catholic Church had taught for centuries. If you dare said anything about the goings on, in or out of the parish, you were ostracized and label a "crazy conservative" or a "radical". Now, granted, all Conciliar Church parishes aren't like this, but most are. More on that later......

I began to re-read the Church fathers and re-read Church Council documents and things started to clear up. Something was seriously wrong. So I started looking for answers. The more I looked around in old Catholic books and on the Internet, the more I saw many Traditional Catholic websites and began to read them. Many of these sites need to be taken with a grain of salt, but there are some good quality sites that have good solid information for Catholics. I stumbled across a site that was run by a sedevacantist (more on this term later in the article). We corresponded by email MANY, MANY times and didn't see eye to eye for a long time, but the more Church documents I read I began to understand why these sedevacantists lived their faith in the catacombs, so to speak.

This is just part of my story. Let's talk about some issues. When I say "Conciliar church" I am speaking of the product of the Second Vatican Council. Before the Second Vatican Council convened in 1962, the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church (the Roman Catholic Church) was at its height. Seminaries and and convents were full , priests wore cassocks and sisters wore habits, Mass attendance was at 75%, lines to the confessional were long and most people actually believed in the True Presence of Our Blessed Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist. The Mass of the Ages (the Tridentine rite) was still being said in all Roman Catholic parishes. Total reverence was expected and given at all times. You get the picture.

I will not go as far as to say things were perfect in the Church though. What the Church teaches and believes has ALWAYS been perfect. The people in Holy Mother Church are not. Since the 1950's certain groups representing liberal/Masonic interests began to make their way into the Church hierarchy and in positions of leadership. Subsequently they convened/controlled the Second Vatican Council and changed history forever in the Church. With the signing of the Second Vatican Council came total changes in theology, sacraments, etc. Because of those changes the majority of the hierarchy of the Church fell into heresy and led much of the Catholic laity into heresy with them. There were some, howbeit few, that realized exactly what was happening and rejected the heresy that was Vatican II and all it stood for. These True Catholics are sometimes called sedevacantists. Sede vacante is Latin for "empty seat". This means that the chair of St. Peter is empty and has been from the time of John XXIII. This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the first time it has happened for this length of time.

A perfect example of the new religion that came out of Vatican II is how the Church has always considered prayer with heretics (protestants, muslims, jews, etc.) to be heretical and anyone that was involved in activities like this were considered heretics and excommunicated from the Church. Now when the Conciliar church gets together to pray with these heretics it is called "Ecumenism" (see picture below). False ecumenism. TRUE ecumenism is when you proselytize (try to convert) non-believers and heretics by telling them the Truth and praying FOR them, not WITH them. You don't go on their turf, you invite them to yours so you can lead them to conversion. Why would a true Roman Catholic go to a protestant service? The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church is the TRUE Church These other religions are fake churches that either left Holy Mother Church or created their own religion. False "pope" John Paul the "Great" kissing the Koran, a book that denies the Holy Trinity

How can spotless Holy Mother Church believe something for nearly 2,000 years and one day, out of the blue, COMPLETELY go against what it has taught? It can NOT and it did not. These people that engage in these activities are heretics and True Catholics did not then and WILL not now engage in these heretical activities.

This is all I am going to write about today, but I promise there will be much more to come. I know this may all seem very confusing at first, but I will expound MUCH deeper on all of the things I have talked about and bring many more topic to the table.

Maybe you identify with what I went through. Maybe you wonder if where you are is the True Catholic Church. It was a hard road of conversion for me and many of those I know, but with much prayer, especially the Rosary, and after reading the Church Fathers and Church Council documents I know you will gain a better understanding of the True Roman Catholic faith. I understand this may sound strange, but I assure you what I will write and show you is the truth and has always been the truth of the Church. I also hope to post articles from friends that are true Roman Catholics and have written many articles and even books of their own. The advice I would give you is to pray to Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Spirit to help lead you to the Truth! May God bless you with understanding!
